The American Parkinson's Disease Association

The American Parkinson's Disease Association, is a national organization, founded in 1961, with its mission to " Ease the Burden and find the Cure" for Parkinson’s disease through research, patient/caregiver support groups and education. At present, the APDA sponsors 59 Information and Referral Centers, 65 Chapters and over 800 support groups across the nation.
